I think all of those who've done any research and/or love the outdoors will agree this is a good company with good products and a solid distribution channel.
The lack of significant volume, press and even postings on this board seem to indicate a general apathy about the stock. In a volitile market like this one ... apathy = losses. This stock has fallen steadily from 20 in mid July to below 16 today.
Any thoughts on prospects. I know I am considering cutting my losses if we get much lower.
I'm familiar with the company and like the products. That's why I bought the stock. It keeps dropping however for no seen reason and I'm seriously thinking about cutting my losses and chalking it up to a bad investment. The company is not marketing itself on behalf of the shareholders and they should. For most public companies, shareholder value is important. To COLM, they just don't seem to understand that. Unfortunate for me when all I can say about Columbia is that it's a hell of a write-off.
