The charts indicate that COLM is still likely to go down further. I bought this stock months ago at 22 and sold it in the recent runup. I am looking to get in again, so I looked at the charts today and read all your postings. Unfortunately, my conclusion is that I would wait a few days before buying. My 2cents based on technicals and fundamentals.
I would also tell Ma Boyle to start selling her stake to traders/institutions slowly because the small float is posing us all a great risk. I would rather suffer the short-term consequences of a small drop in stock price due to additional shares being sold to the market than the long-term torture of institutions avoiding this stock because of its small float. Any thoughts?
Have you checked the weather in the midwest (Des Moines)lately. This morning i didn't even wear a coat to work. I think COLM is a great company, but unless we start to some cooler weather, I can't but think that sales will suffer a little bit.
