i would like to have freed up money somewhere and doubled up here, but none of my others were at the point of me being willing to sell yet. But come eoy NVIV will be trading close to $3 imo. So all will be well.
I know how you feel. I've been in the same situation. Just sold another biotech stock that has had repeat dips but also has the fundamentals to have good rise in medium term - had to cut it loose before I wanted to to move it over to nviv - finishing my position (started about a year ago) now. Always that war - to cut loose or hold too long and miss gains from the money being more active. I am working hard at not holding too long in general - and I am a long - so this discipline of selling a sitter to catch a mover before the move is challenging. But I find that cutting some chaff loose benefits me in the long run - and indeed the buy-back-in opportunities present more than I would have anticipated before I started holding myself to the Graham-based rule. So - I just sold stock at a 250%gain, choosing not to wait for the anticipated 400% gain, to fully engage in what I believe will be nviv's momentous rise over the next 3 years...
VERY fortunate. I am very positive on NVIV, but I'm not sure about the "eoy" remark. Certainly by about March though. A little patience and right now it is absurdly cheap. I'm continuing to buy, but wish I had more cash available now. This is truly a gifted opportunity.
