InVivo Therapeutics Holdings Corp. Message Board

    Price drop?

Can anyone give insight on this continuous drop in price. The move has been methodical to the downside, and it just doesn't make fundamental sense. Does anyone else think this is manipulation? Or does someone have the inside scoop?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Sorry if I offended you. I'm always amazed to see the number of people who've invested their hard earned money and then come here seeking affirmation for their investment decisions from total strangers. I've read these boards for years simply for the entertainment value, however, it's like panning for gold. Occasionally I've come across a nugget of original thought or a link to some interesting information, but I have never seen any information from anyone with inside information material to the success or failure of a company. I suppose that's because if I did, their next post would be from the confines of their jail cell.

NVIV is a company with 30 employees, no revenues, a new facility, and probably a big mortgage. How much is that worth? They also have a hope and a prayer. Add that into your equation and see how it affects the numbers. The market was willing to give them a valuation over $2/share until someone posting a negative article on a commercial website blog metaphorically turned on a flashlight causing investors to flee like roaches to the security of the cracks in the wall. I guarantee you no one posting on this message board has a clue as to what the future of this company will be. If you believe what anyone here says, you will get what you deserve.

Here's a nugget for you. I've heard Frank put so much time and effort into this endeavor it cost him his marriage. He didn't want to give his ex any equity in the company. That's why he's "trickling" out his shares. Stick that under your pillow and see what the tooth fairy leaves you in the morning.

      • "You heard" about Frank, his ex wife, blah, blah, blah. You and Harry Reid (Mr. 'I heard Mitt didn't pay any taxes for 10 years') must sleep together. There is a lot more to this company than you care to look at - so why don't you take your crap to another board and bang on them with -0- substance. Stick that under your #$%$ and see what the #$%$ fairy leaves you in the morning.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • As I see it there are two culprits: 1) The fact that this stock is not listed on the NASDAQ and 2) the lack of FDA approval for clinical trial. No FDA approval is particularly to blame as dragging the approval out month after month creates a perception of a credibility issue on the part of management. Until and unless this company can prove itself worthy of FDA approval, this company and its stock will continue to languish.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • When there are more sellers than buyers, the price goes down. Conversely, when there are more buyers than sellers, the price goes up. Hope that helps.
