When a president awards a company exec with a high honor - you know something good is happening. It may be that the FDA is about ready to announce their approval for NVIVO's human test trials. These events usually work hand in glove.
Not sure this award will have any bearing on the announcement of the human trial approval--if you read the NY Times article (Nov 26/12)-Dr. Langer has had an extemely distinguished career--810 different patents/direct-indirect establishment of 250 different companies etc. I'm sure this award may be in recognition of his many accomplishments
Thanks for that. My angle is more political. It all has to do with reading into why a president is involved now with pinning an award. If NVIV receives FDA approval then it also makes the president look good for acknowledging his achievements ahead of an announcement. It also adds credibility to a government decision. I also agree with you, the man receiving the award is a special human being and is so deserving.
