Elpida filed for protection from creditors in February 2012 but they are still producing chips for Apple.
Under bankruptcy, they have not paid previous debts and are probably paying cash for purchases required to keep their operations running.

What happens to the profits Elpida had for the last 10 months plus 3 – 6 months of 2013? Does the Cash go to Micron when the takeover is finalized or will the Creditors get the cash that Elpida may hold when the deal is closed?

Mobile DRAM has been profitable. Does anyone know (links) how much cash Elpida currently has? Or has Elpida been producing chips for Apple for the last year for a net profit of Zero?
