    Toyota quality going downhill

    Sam : His dealer already offered to replace them under warranty yet he continues to complain . What can your choice of dealer do that has not already been offered to him ? The reason a warranty begins on day one is exactly what this is all about . His complaint is this never should have happened . He is not being reasonable . Just because his service advisor states it can happen again does not mean that it will . The wheels may not have had the proper primer prior to the paint . It sounds like an isolated case and this guy thinks its World War Three . Fire the customer , nothing will make him happy ! For all we know he made this all up .

    • If you had read my earlier post, I was told by the service manager that IT WOULD HAPPEN AGAIN. He sees it all the time. This is just like GM.

      Oh and from your earlier post that I'm just a complainer, let me state this. I have owned 5 toyotas since 1987 and I have never made a warraty claim in all those years. I almost never return or complain about anything I buy. I'm not a serial whiner like you think I am. I did once complain about a 1989 Grand Am and after I got no where with GM, switched to Toyota exclusively.
