This is America and if someone wants to loan you 50 billion you take it. Nobody was happy that GM needed government loans, not the governments, not the taxpayers and, quite frankly, not the company. However the other alternative was the potential loss of over 1 million jobs if GM and Chrysler shut down. Toyota also took loans under disguise of tax credits because they also provide jobs to Americans, although the pay is heavily cut back without Union protection.
They got money from goverment with the cash for clunkers.Didn`t they also have their hands out to the Japanese gov recently and it was only for japanese companies?
They do the same thing just in different ways and don`t create as many U.S. jobs plus they take the money out of the country?
They do give away a lot of recalls and plenty of rust?
