    As a Toyota shareholder, my personal experience with our local dealership service department, is awful.
    We've been having an air bag light come on and blink in our Toyota Sienna. So, we made an appointment at Bill Wright Toyota for service. We got quoted an outrageous figure to the tune of $2,325.19 to replace an air bag assembly and wire harness. I paid the $98.00 for the diagnostics. I did not have it done. I got on the internet to see if other Sienna owners were having the same issues. I saw a comment on a tread instructing us to check the wires at the bottom of the seats to ensure that they did not come loose. That was the issue. It was just a matter of plugging the keyed wires together. This dealership continually takes it to the consumer. I am upset that I almost spent 2300 on nothing. I would let it go, but these guys have a history of ripping people off. Stay away from Bill Wright Toyota. My next letter is to Toyota Motor Corp., BBB, and the BAR.

    • talk to the service manager about your experience & express your concerns---the medical field has the same problems at times but this should be addressed with a person on top.

      • Gotta agree with Sammy on this one. The biggest problem with younger techs today is that they rely on a diagnostic scanner too much if the diag code is this then that has to be the fault. The proper procedure is / should be check for TSB's ( technical service bulletins ) or SSM's ( special service messages) after the code is retrieved chances are other mechanics have run into this problem before ...I think this the ONE time that I'll agree with Sammy!
