No, Toyota always had a sincere recall program but may have responded late to one or two issues. GM on the other hand has consistently refused to recall cars that they knew to be dangerously flawed. I have said many times GM should to recall millions of vehicles. I should have said billions. Some GM managers, such as LaSorda and fat Rick will go to prison.
Wrong answer.Toyota has recalls to protect it's customers in case of a defect with a particular part.An ignition switch is a part.Governemnt Motors knew about it from 2004 until today without a recall.People died but it saved Government Motors $$$$$ MILLIONS.Now we the taxpayer will pay for it.Another bankruptcy---hopefully not???
