    Beware Toyota Extra Care policy

    Talking to the people at Toyota Motor Insurance
    Services was the FIRST thing I did. The letter I received
    was the denial to my email appeal. The supervisor I
    talked to just kept repeating �the contract excludes
    sludge�. The supervisor said �Mike Martin� was the only
    person above him and that he would not talk to me. They
    are not concerned about how the sludge got there, how
    many times you changed the oil, or why the oil light
    did not come on as a warning. When I insisted the
    sludge must have been from the previous owner they told
    me to contact the dealer we bought the car from. You
    can probably imagine the dealer�s laughter if I
    called about a used car they sold 1 � years ago.

    Legally it appears Toyota Insurance Services is off the
    hook due to their fine print. We couldn�t even point
    to a single oil change station as the changes were
    done over 1-1/2 years at three different franchises.

    I�m not done with this by a long shot but I am not
    optimistic. Thanks again for listening.
