Maxim went from 1.51 full year to 1.04 full year. While the high went from 1.71 to 2.05 More than a dollar difference from the two estimates. Whats his game? He was not even at the C.C.. He has always been wrong. So everybody else went up and he went way down pulling the average.
Jes, I agree with you on these analyst estimates so wide you can drive "whatever" through them. However, there were still four analysts who jumped on the downgrade bandwagon (go to the site in my previous post and scroll down to the section, "Detailed Estimates Submitted").
Bottomline: I guess it really doesn't matter; the consensus EPS estimate was lowered a bunch. However, in another negative light, more than half the seven analysts currently providing estimates don't see a rosy outlook for PMTI whereas it was only one (Vendetti, I believe). And...that has been reflected in the technical action of this stock.
