Thanks for the post, Hyper. I have not seen a transcript of an earnings call, nor the details behind the aggregate numbers. I do know that their sales were down 7%, according to the press release.
They sell a broad range of produce, so without the detail, we don't know what is driving the top line softness. It could be particular fruit volumes, pricing, exchange rates, or a combination. That is a fairly notable drop, and it is not helping their stock today (and probably not ours, either).
I do know that Florida lost about 1/3 of their citrus crop, and that could have some impact on Dole and others.
