    Should shorts worry about China

Of course Russia will order more from us BUT China will be bigger because they are coming from further behind and have more foreign currency to spend. The China contract ELON got for the bridges was just the start of pilots. Don't YOU get that???

    • Yes, China is further behind and has farther to go. For instance, the average household income for a rural Chinese worker was $300/yr, last time I heard figures. City dwellers earened an average of $600/yr. If you figure that the cost of the electric meters will be coming out of the electricity bill, you have to figure that these $300 to $600 incomes are going to have to pay for these meters, which probably weigh in at about $100 a pop, before they pay for the electricity being metered. Somehow, I don't see the average Chinese citizen having electricity, let alone a power meter. Yeah, there are a lot of them, but they have a ways to go yet before each of them gets power and HBO.

Keep in mind also, that while China aspires to have all of its people live like we do, the world output cannot possibly support that many people consuming like we do. (Personally, I think we need to cut back consumption.)

Russia is a little more advanced, probably India too. I think big orders will come from there first.
