Shareholders in this company need to begin the process of actively managing their investments. In my opinion it's time we send a message that this isn't their private company, it's our public company. When the next proxy arrives in the mail I suggest we select one issue which is a standard vote that typically would pass without much resistance(eg. voting for an auditor) and vote against it. This would give us a rough idea of how many shares readers on this board hold. Once we have this information we would know if shareholder activism has the potential to get us heard. Ultimately it is clear to me that we need a big stick to take this to the next level. Should the time ever arrive, I would vote for offering the CEO position to Jim Rogers. This would get us in front of every utility in the country and make shareholders mega rich.
It's time to try this if, for nothing more, than to make ELON's management know there are some disgruntled shareholders out there. I'm with others who have owned this for 10 years and feel enough is enough. ELON has to move forward, stop with the games and name Michael Anderson the CEO so we have some direction here. My gut tells me they have decided on this in November but are giving him a test run before announcing it. The shareholders deserve better for 10 years of faith in this company and its management. The only ones getting rich are the insiders who are collecting shares while the price is low but have a better idea where this company is going in the markets.
