REE has a market cap of $435, no revenues and negative cash flow and the price goes up every day. Between the hedge funds and the fools that chase worthless stocks, this market is plain NUTS. AAUKY has more rare earths (that, incidentally, are much less rare than platinum, gold, osmium, iridium and a host of other rare metals) that are mined in relative abundance - and AAUKY goes practically unnoticed. I sometimes believe understanding the technology and the financials is sometime a disadvantage. It certainly more profitable to be on-board with the manipulators.
1. What % of Anglo's revenue is rare-earth related?
2. Mostly when you walk through a parking lot to the mall, movie theatre, or courthouse, you ignore the pennies; but if there were a dollar bill, or maybe even a quarter, sitting on the pavement, you'd stoop to pick it up. Yet there are probably at least a hundred pennies in a given parking lot. Why wouldn't you go pick up every penny if you'd pick up a dollar bill? (Hint: this analogy gives the lie to the true-yet-false rare-earth shorty's line about there being more neodymium or cerium than gold or rhodium.)
