Currently have pttrx at 50% in 401k and 20% in moneymarket, the remaining in stock index funds. At 47, should i just reallocate the moneymarket to pttrx or to stocks? Don't think i'll lose any sleep either way just looking for any take. Thanks.
I have been almost exclusivly in (PTTRX) for the last 18 months. Ever since the market started climbing for reasons I did not understand. I have slept much better. I know there many people on this board that think Mr. Gross should leave but none of those people are as good at this as he is or they would have thier own funds. If the S&P drops back to around 1100-1050 I will move back into stocks. Until then I will be happy with a good safe return of 6%.
FYI, over the past 3 months, I converted almost 30% out of 35% cash into PTTRX in my 401K. Now holding 75% PTTRX in my 401K. I didn't see much likelihood that PTTRX would underform cash at around 1.5% yield. Also, fyi, I am totally opposiste with my brokerage accts. (100% in equities).
