in 401k balance(T Rowe) this am...i would expect this to be offset real soon or i will be on the phone.
this matter is closed, it showed up saturday morning, used the live chat, TRowe was professional as expected, stated these matters sometimes take a few days..no big deal..you can sleep easy at night with PTTRX, don't need the stress/gyrations of the market.
Still hasn't shown up on my J. P. Morgan account. I am new this year to PTTRX, so was pretty alarmed when I saw a one day drop from 11.64/share to 11.36/share. I calmed down when I googled the subject and found this group.
I don't quite understand your beef. You are getting more shares of PTTRX and at the reduced price of the cap gain distribution. For just December this will amount to an extra 19 days of dividends on shares you never had. Moreover the net value of you PTTRX holdings has not changed. If PTTRX performs as it did last year after the cap gain distribution it will appreciate more than the cap gain distribution. If one allows this to continue without any withdrawal for say 10 years you will double your monthly dividend distibution and may be able to live off the doubling in dividends or even more of you are further away from retirement. But I'd be interested in you call to T Rowe and how they handle you?
Sentiment: Hold
Merrill Lynch. Yesterday I showed the drop AND the cap gains. Today? Now I'm just showing the drop.
The dist was posted wrong.

Same at Schwab. Still waiting for my distribution. Yahoo historical prices don't show it yet either. Why is this so hard?
Hey -- how about posting when your custodian finally gets around to crediting the distribution? T. Rowe, Schwab, JP Morgan, ... ? Fidelity had it by 12/13 10 am....
My share repurchase with the dividend occurred in my Schwab Private Client account the evening of Dec 12, the same day the dividend was paid.
Schwab reported today that it put the money into my 401k account on 12/12. Yahoo historical prices don't show the dividend yet.
JP Morgan has updated for 12/13 and still not posted it. Annoyed.
Vanguard distributed ours this morning.
Mine showed up in my Fidelity acct this morning, it was $0.26.8 per share.
Same here
Isn't this drop due to the cap gains payment? NAV adjustment?
It is very confusing because apparently we took a hit on the bond funds market price at the same time the cap gains were being distributed. All of my PIMCO bond funds took a hit. However, they had been up a lot in the last two weeks. I am looked forward to the December dividends and possibly supplemental dividends.
Sentiment: Buy
don't feel too bad, same at Fidelity
Sentiment: Buy
Fidelity shows the cap gain included.
Same at JP Morgan. While the lower share price is reflected right away, it takes a couple days for the reinvested shares to show up.
