    TCI - Connecticut deal ?

About a year ago, Cablevision and TCI signed an
agreement in principle for CVC to acquire the cable
properties of TCI in Connecticut. Still no action. Does
anyone know if this deal is still alive, or has the
buyout of TCI by AT&T put the screws to it ? AT&T
desparately wants to link up with every cable company that
they can for cable telephony, so maybe CVC will be
able to have some leverage in consumating the TCI
    agreement.

    • I am surprised that cvc backed off this much -
cable prices are most likley going to be de-regulated
and eventually at&t will start begging cvc for some
kind of deal. at&t believes cvc to be the toughest of
the cable companies to work with and will attempt to
corral them last. This stock has nothing but HUGE upside
potential , I only wish I had more $ to invest. These are
my opinions for what they are worth.

    • please tell me why this stock is going down so quickly since the 1st of the month. Was there any news that I may have missed?

        Salomen,Smith,Barney.
That little set back was only for a day and it
        rebounded nicely.
The main resaon is the "NASDAQ'S BEEN
        TANKING FOR TWO DAYS"!
Plus we have ran up about 28
pts. in the last week.I love it,but lets be real, thats
a bit much. Time to give a little back I
        guess.
