what happens to VNR when gas hedges fall after 2011

I personally think you are dead wrong. As they set up infrastruture for trucks to use NG, prices will skyrocket and it won't be long now.

    • There is NO political will to push nat gas. Wall St is making too much money on oil. Wall St controls Washington DC, so no rapid change to energy independence (mass use of LNG) is possible.

Some small companies have tried to establish infrastructure to support LNG fueled vehicles but most gave up because they were independent, unsupported by Washington. All attempts to make the same subsidies available similar to ethanol or electrical vehicles have failed. No opportunity to reach economic critical mass to make LNG vehicles available.

BTW - The few commercial/municipal LNG vehicles on the road pay ~$1.60/gal.
