Hey you are the guy telling other people "Also your China Mobile posts are pure speculation and not very good speculation at that- sorry at least post things based on fact or logic".
In your own words you say " at least post things based on fact or logic". Your Subject is the only reason that billionaire (you spelled it wrong) invested in nvtl is for patents and gateway. Where is your facts or logic. Do you know him? Did he tell you that is why he invested? No you SPECULATED and HAVE NO FACTS OR NO BASIS OF LOGIC. You are a yahoo ah**le who thinks he know everything and tells people not to do exactly what you are doing. That is the problem with this board everyone has to pretend they are professionals and point things out that they do themselves and could not find their own as% let alone pick stocks professionally. GO TO HEL# You AS*HOL#.
I believe NVTL and SWIR used to trade at the same levels for a long time until NVTL fell out of favor or just plainly didn't execute as well as SWIR.
A Billionaire investor Karsh took a large stake in NVTL. Speculation is that he may be involved with SWIR or maybe SWIR is going to buy NVTL.
IMO NVTL still owes IDCC a licence.
I bought shares in NVTL recently in the $1.30 range strictly, because NVTL was trading below cash at $1.70. With the patents and the business etc I think NVTL shares are worth at least $4-5.00. SWIR eventually, may agree to buy NVTL or maybe someone else might buy it in time, In the time. the management will use NVTL as a "milk cow" without much worry about the share holders!
I haven't posted anything about Karsh and I have no idea why he bought 9% of the company. So don't attribute someone else's post to me. As for your speculation, you don't know what you are talking about. Data cards? Go look at the NVTL website under products. Click on data cards and what do you see? You will see nothing because they quit making them a long time ago. Swir supplies M2M embedded chips that are compatible with TD-SCMA- the standard used in China. Is that a market NVTL/Enfora is trying to get into? I don't know. They have never mentioned that during one of their conference calls. But embedded chips are not data cards. #$%$ are you talking about with data cards? RIght now NVTL makes MiFis, USB modems, embedded chips, and M2M chips and solutions- No data cards!
Really quit distorting facts.
I remember hearing about that but I was not actively monitoring this stock at that time. I have been thinking about what you said and am a little concerned. Are you sure this was invested and not short? What would happen to stock if the firm or person just wanted the patents. Do you really know anything or you do not. Can you be honest so I will be able to sleep tonight. I am just wondering if this happened when it was at a crazy level and it was one of these firms that short them to nothing. If you really do not know anything, please say so.
This stock seems to go down a few cents and back up a few cents. Some call that a rolling stock. I have bought at the low and sold a few cents higher just for income. You can put a limit order in and say buy at $1.89 and sell at $1.99. If you have enough shares you make income off of that 10 cent move. I would even take a 5 cent move for a trade. If you have a large amount of shares you can make money on 1 cent up moves. I am not talking about shorting. When the stock drops, I place a limit to sell maybe 10 cents higher. It may go higher than that but sometime the way this stock jumps around you have to have a disciplined sell point. I am not recommending this to anyone else. I only know what to do myself. If you do it you will probably loose money. I am just giving a scenario of what people with a large amount of shares can do. I do not get the patents you are referring too. How would investing a billion dollars get him the patents. He did not buy the company unless you are eluding to him being a silent partner. There is such a thing as a silent partner when an investor wants to buy the company or part of the company and remain anonymous. I do not know who it it because I was busy elsewhere. What is the billionaires name? That could actually mean this stock already was sold to a silent partner? Maybe you are on to something here that you did not explain correctly. You sort of made it sound like he was just another investor. If you are correct about the billionaire, sure sounds like a silent partner. Where is the link? Can you prove this?
