    Anyone familiar with....

Different trusts have different termination conditions. Some have a scheduled date, others keep going until reserves are depleted.
You can find the information you need in the annual reports. I haven't checked SJT's recently but I expect it gives a (conservative) estimate on how many years are left based on current assessment of reserves. Look on their website.

      • Well I think back then both myself and lca13 were pointing out that both distributions and unit price would fall for the following 6 months or so.

On the positive side, the drop so far hasn't been nearly so bad as last year...it's held up pretty well considering.

On the negative side, I'm not expecting such a pronounced winter bounce in NG this year (winter is forecast to be mild) and so SJT distributions next spring might not be as high as this year.

I'm holding on to my SJT, but not expecting fantastic returns or yield over the next year. Would be happy if it held at current levels.
