Are there any product tanker companies that derive a large part of their revenues from shipping Mexican crude to refineries in Brazil, China, and India? I know that this crude traditionally went to US refiners but apparently there has been a surge in Mexican crude going longer routes to overseas refiners. Trying to understand who might benefit from that.
If it's crude that's being shipped, it wouldn't be on product tanker, it would be on crude tankers. And the shipper would be PEMEX naturally. I believe PEMEX both charters and owns some crude carriers, and the only company I know of offhand that charters ships to PEMEX is Grupo TMM.
It will be nearly impossible to play this precise trend.
