    good time to buy

    >>the dominant players in the fab industry are TSMC in technology, and SMIC in cost.

What technologies does TSMC have that $1B cannot solve? How much does TSMC spend on labor and how much can SMIC save?

The key question to ask, that will cut out all garbage, is how much did Rabbit offered to help SuperMor, considering that TSMC accounts for 10% of ROC GDP? Now, do you see why TSMC has no future?

Frankly, I believe you seriously underestimate the value of the trained workforce infrastructure operating the existing fabrications facilities. A $1billion barrier to entry is significant and the quality of product without years of experience in chip fab would be poor. One could easily state that anyone can put Walmart out of business with a few bucks to buy some empty Kmarts ... but Walmart competition is the reason for those empty Kmarts.

Your analysis of the political situation would be more useful if you used no jargon. I would welcome insight into this area.

The $1B figure, guess what, came from the damage to SMIC due to TSMC lawsuits. The SMIC IPO reflects the damages to TSMC merely because SuperMor listened to Moses and Rabbit and not to invest in PROC earlier. The trained workforce issue is irrelevant because during last cycle, TSMC let go the majority of their engineers, and replaced them during current cycle with rookies. It is unfair to expect these engineers not to look out for #1. As a side note, #1 has special meaning to those from ROC.

I never said that and I do not want to aim so low. Give me $1B and Kmart and I have innovative ideas that can increase the value to $100B and put several other big companies out of business.

Thanks but. Because I believe that Moses and Rabbit are king7 and dpp are king8, I flatly refuse to do so. However, you are welcome to counter my points, providing you cite news or facts and not to call me commie. Before doing so, I like to request you to review the chip industry between 0304 and now. Did anything change drastically? Why did TSM $ drop so much? Now, why are you trying so hard to screw the TSM investors?
