    Just a Guess to Share!

    McMEM,

Your comment of "Pharmaceutical companies are profit motivated and none of the aforementioned company (MRK, BMY, PFE, GSK) has new drug in the pipeline." is interesting and the market will let you know if you are right or wrong soon!

The danger of you guy's attitude is, just like the way you people painted Abian & DPP,

    * Can not see the Pros and Cons at the same time! It may significantly limit you guy's capability in making judgement!

The gross profit to revenue ratio of gsk and mrk is around 80%, pfe at 70% and bmy at 60%. These extremely high ratios justify that pharmaceutical companies are profit motivated. MRK and BMY have a # of pending lawsuits and PFE is losing its Viagra fight at PROC for failure to disclose the invention. I am not aware of any blockbuster new drug in the pipeline in the near future for these companies.

      >>The market will let you know if you are right or wrong soon!

You recommended these companies because they were much cheaper than their peak values. I countered your suggestion WITH FACTS. Please show that I am wrong WITH FACTS OR VALID REASONINGS.

I have asked you many times before. Please tell us dpp accomplishments.

      • Mxyz..,

        - "never buy low sell high?
        * I think you are using a strategy of buy high and sell higher or short low and cover lower. It's ok, people can make money, if they know how to do that properly.

        - "buy low, sell high or even higher"
        * I use this strategy for quality stocks. When a company or a country had a crisis, I looked at the fundamentals and decided if I would buy it or not.
        * I bought a lot of Korean Fund (KF) and South Korea Telecom (SKM) during the Asian crisis, Japanese Bank (MTF) last summer befor banks started to recover, Tobacco companies when they were sued before (just like MRK now?), and even American banks in late 1990 when there were banking crisis.
It needs plan and discipline. It works ok for me so far, although I am always learning from time to time. Hopefully it will also work for you with your plan!

        - "I have asked you many times before. Please tell us dpp accomplishments."
        * I have answered your question with evidences more than once in the past.
Unfortunately, with your pre-determined mind, you just didn't want to see or admit that?!

Go luck in your career and investment!

    • unfortunetly, you are talking about your brother lou_wong_bar and yourself.
dpp is just another piece of crack.
abain's handicaped wife will tell your guy
how to buy low and sell high and why it's two bullet instead of three.
