I'm a long time holder of TSMC, but I think I'm going to sell after the next earnings report. It concerns me greatly when they say there is little growth left in the foundry business. The solar business seems like it has an excess capacity and highly dependent world wide on government subsidies. The LED business involves technology that TSMC has no experience with (non silicon) and I believe that there will be a long learning curve to catch up with companies like CREE.Thoughts???
Both Solar and LEDs are doing badly this year with the exception of TSMC. Is TSMC out of those fields?
Don"t sell out yet...
I see TSM is up a buck in Taiwan trading Tuesday.
