Two items I am very excited about from the earnings conference call Thursday were just great to hear. The CEO said in 2011 in US dollars, ex-memory products, TSM will grow 20% but the the overall foundry market will grow 15% and the semiconductor market will grow 7%. For the second item the CFO said TSM will use its tremendous cash flow for capacity expansion at a much faster pace to capture this big growth, and it will reduce the dividend. This will bring shareholders much greater rewards as shareholders will be rewarded by better stock price appreciation as revenues and profits will grow. I have always wanted stock price appreciation from TSM rather than increased dividends. My wish appears to be coming true.
