It has been an amazing wild ride. Corn did exactly what I felt it would do when I purchased it "increase in value". I have had riffs with guys on here and I shared in meaningful discussions. Now I just have to get my father to sell his physical corn to the chicken mill. The mill is paying .60 over market price! Gotta thank God in the good times.
God Bless everyone!!! Maybe we can do it again next year!
Wow ,that's a mature comment, the real you is coming out. You've gone from posting useless spam to attacking a poster whose made a ton of money trading corn and is an actual farmer with first hand info on it.Following your signals I would have bought high and sold low on CORN,go find a board that appreciates you if you can find one. You've lost all credibility here, now do us a favor and leave.
Corn boy has booked a tidy profit on this trade. He used his intuition to purchase corn light years before you knew about the drought and decades before your quotient ever ran a screen on it!
CORN is hitting resistance, as the dire news mounts. Good move to bail.
I played around here in July with options, made some money, and never looked back at it, once I moved on.
The substitution effect you discussed is real, and probably acting as a drag on corn futures as the city boy traders at the CBT figure it out.
Hopefully, next years crop is good, because America feeds the world, and Soylent Green tastes funny....
Premature. After consolidation, think we still make a move towards $60. This is ranking as one of the worst droughts ever, in the heart of the corn belt. Bull moves almost NEVER occur in just one upmove. There will be a second leg, and after that maybe a third.
Dad's harvest is this weekend. He purchased a new combine to complete it with a 12 row corn header. I guess the $8.75 corn price and 115 bu/acre more than pays the bills down here.
But to inform some who are less informed. John Deere financed him at 0% interest for five years. Something tells me the Deere is not selling equipment at all right now and doing a lot of promotional work. You do not want to be long John Deere right now or any equipment right now. Including irrigation equipment. They do not have the money to spend. Glad everyone made a profit (hopefully).
Screw a "Quotient"!!!! LOL. I knew I was screwed when he issued a strong buy. I was like crap!!!!
What you didn't wait for ricaros sell signal? JK
Please keep posting on here,I'm out awhile ago but still read these boards almost daily.A lot of good trading info here. When is your dads harvest due?
The Qman must have issued another buy on a S/A comment board for natural gas; it is down approx 5%. Last time he issued a buy it went down 7% the next day!
Have you seen the S/A picture; does not project a confident professional image! Can you spell whannabe confidence man.
