Read the following, from 7 months ago when the INO share price was only 55 cents:
BLUE BELL, Pa., March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE MKT: INO) today announced that it has closed an underwritten offering of 27,377,266 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 13,688,633 shares of common stock at a combined price of $0.55 per share and related warrant for gross proceeds of $15.1 million. The warrants are exercisable at an exercise price of $.7936 per share and will expire, unless exercised, on the date that is 180 days after the fifth anniversary of the date of issuance. The net proceeds from the sale of the shares and the related warrants, after deducting the underwriters' discounts and other estimated offering expenses payable by Inovio, was approximately $14.0 million, which does not include any potential proceeds from the cash exercise of any warrants."
INO was 55 cents 7 months ago, above $1.80 today.
Many people do not know that fact.
Same thing happened with CPRX and IDRA, both were under 50 cents earlier this year and both
are higher than 2 dollars now without doing any reverse stock split. Just like INO.
tiger, What does "pump" mean?
Do you mean INO is going back down to 45 cents soon?
How does a stock go from 45 cents to 2 dollars this year like INO, CPRX and IDRA all did and you call it "pump" as if they are all going back down in price soon? They were all the same price in March and April about 6 or 7 months ago where RNN is today and all went up without doing a reverse stock split.
INO got a lot of exposure, it was being pumped on every biotech board. Not saying it was a bad pumping, they were just spreading the word so other investors could get in early on another great biotech.
I agree with you that nobody wants to mention RNN on any other message boards now even just to get other people to check out the potential of the RNN cancer drug RX-3117 so that is why this stock will probably stay at under 60 cents. I agree that if people don't spread the word then nothing will happen here in terms of the share price ever moving higher.
