Don't fall into the same trap as TSTC again!

I was a holder of TSTC for a long time up until about 18 months ago. I tend to be too much of a contrarian, but I left TSTC because there were no signals that shareholders would ever benefit from what the company was doing.

Aside from re-iterating the facts of many research articles on Telestones DSO's, and absence of meaningful R&D expenses (which made the company look unusually profitable).....

.....I HAVE ONE MORE WORD OF ADVICE so that none of you get sucked into another trap like this again:

= Never trust a Chinese company that buys or builds new questionable or unnecessary manufacturing facilities (using shareholders so-called profits). Most of the time this means that they are paying friends or business acquaintances for this facility, and the cost is bloated to suck shareholders money out of the company. Company insiders will eventually get kickbacks from these arrangements.

It will happen to SkyPeople as well. Almost guaranteed.

Chalk up your losses, and don't get caught in these frauds again!
    Happy investing.

    • How I wish you had put this advice about 18 months back. I am still an unfortunate TSTC stock holder and only if the CEO ever comes in front of me; i'll recover my money by literally killing the mother ducker.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • I had shares a couple or three times. Lost money on just one hold. tracked the stock looking for a longer term hold, but I vacated any thought of buying back in, even for a swing trade, when the company never did anything to address concerns/complaints.

Heck, today I'm not even sure the company is a complete fraud, but I'm sure they frauded common stock holders. As I noted earlier, I really wonder if Han sold off without filing anything. I am not a fan of the U.S. using drones to take out our enemies around the world, but if we must use em, they should hit the principals in a few of these China frauds -- including persons in those entities (US persons, generally) that set them up.

    • Good advice.

If TSTC does turn out to be a fraud then surely the Auditors who have merrily signed off the annual accounts must open themselves up to liability.
