Why is a well known analyst talking

SG Cowan analyst who is well regarded mentions Wall Mart, Best Buy and Overstock in the same sentence. Maybe he is on to something.

Longer term, SG Cowen expects U.S. e-commerce retail sales to grow at a five-year rate of 16% to $184 billion in 2010 from $86 billion in 2005.

The research firm said traditional retailers like Wal-Mart Stores (nyse: WMT - news - people ) and Best Buy (nyse: BBY - news - people ), as well as recent online entrees like (nasdaq: OSTK - news - people ), are competing aggressively and taking market share from leaders.
