What is the role of the use of straw?Does is act as partial substitute for wood pulp?
Straw is one of the non-wood substances that can be processed in a StakeTech machine to produce pulp. I think the alternative is simply to burn the straw. I'm not sure if this is what you were asking.
I assume that the pulp is for the production of paper. I would appreciate your confirmation or advice as to what the pulp is for. My interest is in investing in companies that contribute something to the environment. The use of straw for paper pulp would seem to reduce greater dependence upon trees. Hence, it would appear to be environmentally useful.Have I got it straight ?
