Conversion to HD TV delayed due to Recession

This is a growing rumor. Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy can not make people buy costly TV's in a depression.

    Think about it.

Government will spend money on sale in a 1/4 day.

    • People don't have to buy new HD TV's. Ever heard of a digital converter box? The government already has a program in place to reimburse consumers (using antennaes, not paid cable service) for digital converter boxes (I believe it's a $50 rebate). You can use a TV from the 80's to watch HDTV if you like.

      • You are 100% right, Woodie, and I know that program. I planto to get one.

Most American lack proper education to realize they do not have to by an HD TV to jeep up with Jone's. They will put
more on Visa to show off HD TV. This is not good in a country with Zero savings rates.

And, all the money goes to Asia for these TVs.

And, as I said, our goverment with spend sale money in a day. Iraw and Afgahanistan are $800,000,000 a day.
