They've Lost the Battles & the War ...

Single digits? I am not so sure about that, seems to be at the point for a serious value trade. Thinking of getting in here at $14. May reconsider if the downside is below 10, but I do not forsee that. Trading at way less than book value, which of course could be a myth.

    • Book Value may disappear with coming write-downs. The entire $13.7B market cap is made up of Goodwill & Intangibles, so who knows. Inventory on hand, is half that number.

Is there "blood in the streets", not yet. Management may be too entrenched to make the hard decisions needed. "Restructuring" done to-date is nothing more than re-shuffling an old deck.

      • Well, here we are in the single digets. Yet, Mgt decides to float a Conv Pfd at 0%, diluting the stock/float another 15%, basically an attempt to save their owb jobs. Old story with bad ending. As I said:

Spin off Pictures & Music into a separately traded company to create value.
Sell off computers & semiconductors to pay down debt.
Downsize Corporate and overall Staffing by another 15% - 20% to streamline operations.
Focus on FUN: Consumer Products, Mobile & Games
