Sony Corporation Message Board

China's opening to game consuls will be extremely huge for Sony ....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$&&

Not only a quarter of world's population lives there, the past 13 years of PROHIBITION against games has created a profound thirst and vacuum that will take millions of consuls and many years to fulfill and who is better positioned than the one most known and best regarded by Chinese than Sony.

The windfall from Chinese government's removal of the prohibition for Sony would be beyond enormous . Of course some panicked about missing the boat will go as far as calling all Chinese thieves to prove Sony won't be able to sell its products there. I wonder if the same people were saying the same thing when Samsung started selling their smartphone there or are they also discouraging Apple from pursuing a deal with China Mobile? In either case they are wasting their breath.

Remember Sony is not Nokia or Research in Motion, etc...Sony is a solid company that is been around going back decades and decade and had a reputation for quality in electronics similar to that of Mercedes in autos.

Sony has already turned around but it is still at the very beginning . I have been following every word of the new CEO and looking up their every new product and what is planned ahead and can tell you I will be surprised, specially in the face of Japan's new monetary and financial policy if Sony is not one of the top performers every year for at least next 3-5 years and even possibly beyond...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
