Hold onto your money, the new sega player isn't
even close to what Sony is coming out with - however,
their timing is better! Read my previous post! The new
sega dreamcaster has problems (only about 20 games) as
opposed to over 400 Sony will have on the new player -
Sega's games are already being taken back to the stores
as some of these don't work correctly on the new
player - still Toy's R' Us has sold out of them all with
back orders in place. Again, Sony's will rock the
world, if they ever get off their butts and get it into
full production. I'm definitely long but would like to
see some good action over the next few months,
especially through the holidays. I can gripe at em anyway,
can't I??? Good investing and stay long in SNE!
Miscellaneous observations in reading financial
Couple of different articles in

"Sony's VIAO Z50SSX SuperSlimPro is the gold standard (in

SNE keep on cranking out winners!!
Getting deluged here w/ OT stuff. I'll post some
good news for SNE.
MSDW recent (Sep't. 1,

1. recent upside earnings
2. possible raising of full-year '99
3. the end of an inventory adjustment cycle,
4. new reforms being implemented,
growth potential as leading company in digital
Unmatched brand name, global presence, wealth of digital
technology as well as software capabilities in movies, AV
and games, SNE has a very strong franchise....expect
it to use to expand both vertically and
horizontally. Expect growth to rebound strongly in fiscal 2000,
powered by strong fundamentals and capital investments in
growth businesses. Recent management announced
restructuring as groundwork for medium-term growth. Internal
reorganization and de-listing of susidiaries-- turning them into
wholy owned entities-- and staff cut of 10%."
we go again!!
You can buy Sega's stock in the US by buying
SEGNY. It is an adr for the Japanese company. For more
info go to ragingbull.com and go to the message board
for SEGNY where people there will answer any
questions you have.
I have memos written by the CEO announcing major
deals with several companies besides Taiko Denki. Ever
heard of Schlumberger? Besides NPCT is cheaper than
your stock and has more publically announced deals and
holds the patent rights to its technology as well as
multiple applications that have strong demand.
