    BI spending will increase soon

The return on investment (ROI) on BI and Data Warehousing is much higher than typical IT projects.

A recent IBM webcast presentation I viewed had the ROI at 401% on average and payback in 1 to 2 years depending on type of DW project.

Obviously new requests for developing or expanding Data Warehouse projects will be easier to justify with high ROI.

The future looks bright for Brio.

    • The only way to keep productivity rising with out the expense of buying new equipment is though innovated software approaches. The cutting of cost through cutting personnel and expenses should have run it course. Now business needs to find ways to produce more with less. This is where Brio and other companies shine and why they might pick up before the rest of the economy.
Lot of middle management people looking over their shoulders and lots of talent on the sidelines to replace them will be force the implantation of new ideas. This is good for Brio in the long run.
