Really dude? You know how many times a newbie shows up to say UNG is a buy here? Just look at the chart and all the broken dreams LOL!! http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=UNG&t=5y&l=on&z=l&q=l&c=
Nothing left is a little strong....
What they do and have done is to reverse split at the 5 buck handle and issue another load for the whales who still buy it, or did........
Etf's seem to recycle themselves, one way or the other. Especially futures based commodity stuff like UNG. Even if they closed it, they would just rename it somewhere else, paint the walls and change the furniture, waiting for the day natty turns around.
Most people wised up to this fraud within the last year. About a year ago you couldn't keep up with the posts on this board and now there is just a handful of regular Bull Chitters who can only dream they are making money on this POS called an investment.
This ETF is going know where but down. It may get a pop here and there, but with the monthly roll dates and contango the chart will continue the down hill path until there is nothing left.
Well, I did just take a $125K on a stock called Force Protection..(FRPT), so I guess things could be worse.
There are too many quality places to put money, then to deal with this POS.
Leveraged gold down, if I recall....
You don't play that when the dollar is rising. Same with the oil ups and downs because of the carry. They have to roll over into a higher dollar cost to repurchase contracts even though the commodity may be down, the contract is not that much cheaper and the fund eats that which affects the SP, in my view.
However, if the dollar is falling, gold and oil usually go up. People whine all the time about UNG. If you play oil and gold, the problems are the same with these etf's. They all have quirks, as do the underlying commodities...... If you can't deal with them, stay away....They are not easy to trade.
Rig count coming down. West Coast was colder than normal. East Coast will be colder later this week (10 deg below normal). Contango is pushing this lower and Dec-Jan is a seasonally strong period for Natgas.
Weekly report will look better. If it goes up 10-15% in Dec, you'll know who played with the Numbers to load up.
