Yup. -37. The bears kept saying we're above the 5-year average. Look at the inventory. Well, that's gone. Now they're saying storage doesn't matter. Rigs don't matter. Storage doesn't matter. They're starting to sound ridiculous. Longer we hang around these levels, the more likely we break out of this price range.
What will ultimately matter this spring-summer is the bottom line.Power companies need to make a profit. Right now coal is cheap & gas is expensive.Unless gas comes down more, the temptation to use coal is to great.
Joelm - I got your point and will be agreeing with you if there was still winter left. It's injection season and where do you see the demand? Do you foresee a shortage? Is inventory level significant while one do not foresee a great NG demand? Timing is bit passive (late) in your statement that is where gap was created from folks whom you called "BEARS"! By the way, trading NG futures, any futures, there are no bulls and bears. Based on time and trend, one becomes a BULL or a Bear! It was designed for traders, frequent traders (Contango!). I don't foresee this as an equirty where you can be long or short for more than a month time frame.
By the way, with your investment style, it might be worth while to get into AAPL and stay put for a while... Just my 2 cents and GOOD LUCK!
