whatever it is , it will not be a negative number , so stop worrying ..... some companies report - 1.00 for several quarters in a row .... at least CLF is in the green consistently ..... or for you CPA's out there , "in the black"
It will be a mind blowing number. Something like 1.40 or more. Everything Cliffs is in went up over the past three months. If Cliffs made 1.20 before the write off for Amapa (read the financial statement last quarter) this stock is going up. The only reason the stock price went down was because of shorts and narrow minded investors. There was a case made that shorts lowered the price because of a margin call on Monday morning which is entirely possible if you watched short covering the past two Monday mornings. And the narrow minded investors were the ones that sold based on the CAT earnings. But really if you think about it if CLF made over a dollar when ore and coal prices were 10% or more lower why wouldn't CLF report amazing earnings now that they are higher.
