I'm not convinced this type of media outlet is as useful as say wsj, ny times, msnbc, Bloomberg, cnn, etc...
some outlet just get more and better eyeballs. other outlet can be grouped with spam and will probably not be seen by those who would actually be interested.
with regards to elelyso, in the short term, i just feel it's more important to focus on gaining market share and preparing a strategy for eliglustat in case it gets approved. now is not the time for pr but execution.
the company is at the mercy of wall street. unfortunately, this company does not have great name recognition so not a lot of retail know or care about it. there just isn't a lot of media interest.
a big reason for this is the company's poor choice of gaucher as the lead product. most retail and media just don't care about this indication. zero potential of becoming a blockbuster. most investors can't see past this.
those who are still invested inspite of this gaucher indication are here for the technology and are willing to wait for the pipeline to mature. without us, this company would have no support.
the best the company can do for us and themselves is to develope the pipeline and technology. if they do this, wall street will eventually recognize the value.
