A quick abstract, in my own words (not a precise translation):
According to Har'el Finance analyst Steven Tepper (*), Thursday's price action on TASE (up 4.91%) is attributable to speculative guesses with regards to EMA which is scheduled to convene today (Friday). However, Tepper says, it is not known whether the PLX item is indeed on the agenda for this meeting, hence his qualification of "speculation".
Upon further DD, I think I understand this speculation better than I did based just on the article.
The monthly meeting of the EMA Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) was a four-day event. It took place in London from Monday to Thursday this week.
"The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) is the committee that is responsible for preparing the Agency's opinions on all questions concerning human medicines. It does not currently publish the minutes or agendas of its meetings. It does publish highlights after each meeting."
The meeting summary report is going to be published today. We are going to find out later today whether PLX was on this meeting's agenda. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
