$22.20 is next years estimated earnings. How long do we have to go before they drop the estimate to $18.00?

I'm sure when we get to $18 some clown will panic a announce to the world why CF is such a great investment.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • Reports out there that the EPA is planning on reducing ethanol blending mandate ... this is very bearish for corn usage, therefore nitrogen usage, and therefore CF .... makes sense since US will become oil independent by 2020 and we have 150 years of natural gas reserves ... it makes no sense to grow food to burn as fuel ....

      • ethanol is the ineffecient conversion of natural gas to a liquid. It takes 10,000 cft of gas to produce one ton of fertilizer. And it takes 6 time more fertilizer to grow corn than most other crops.

For all it is worth. The reason for ethanol is it increase the burn temprature thus burning the vapors and preventing smog. 5% does thus best - 6,10,15,20% is a waste of money.
