    • <<Ebert: Here is a gaudy vomitorium of a movie, violent, nauseating and really a pretty good example of its genre. >>

The movie must be awfully gory when the critics have to resort to making up words to describe it. I wonder if LGF will use the word "vomitorium" on the DVD box.

      I'll pass on this.

    • EXCELLENT REVIEW -- I write Theatre/Show reviews for local papers and EBERT has done a terrif job of laying out the Goods & Bads and giving the reader an adult's basket of pluses and minuses to support their making a wise personal-taste-tailored selection.

I try to take this approach in WILD Madcap Farces for example -- where some people will laugh their asses off and say they never had a better time at the theatre in their lives, while others will say it was the most boring, juvinile dumb-&-dumber bunch of shenanigans they ever had to sit thru. -- Just describe the gentre and whether it was well down for that given genre and let the ticket-buyer decide.

I absolutely would RUN to the Box Office if I liked gore(I don't) and especially if I also liked a tongue-in-cheek darkest comedy take, like smile while you're stapling victims and tapdance as you bring in the gasoline for the psyho bar-b-que.

I think it will "FIND" and audience.
