    The Lions Gate's film Crash received six Oscar nominations, which should drive home-video sales, and the company is close to releasing...DVDs...based on Marvel Entertainment's (MVL-NYSE) The Ultimates, with material marketing support. We think this is something many investors have likely forgotten about. The first direct-to-home feature scheduled for release, Ultimate Avengers, should hit the shelves Feb. 21 at a price of around $20....

    Following the recently announced sale of the studio operations and the expected announcement of a Horror Channel formation, we think the above news, in conjunction with core operations, should bode...well...We are thus maintaining our Buy rating...LGF is trading at a multiple of 6.9 times our estimated 2006 [free cash flow] and 6.1 times our 2007 FCF estimate. At our 14 price target, the shares would be trading at 14.7 times 2006 [estimated] FCF, or 12.9 times our 2007 FCF estimate. Risks include the hit-driven nature of the business.
