Too bad Lancaster Archery Supply isn't a public company, but I am sure the owners are very happy for Hunger games as their business just turned global.
I took very small positions in Mattel and Regal Cinemas....they pay decent dividends so if the price doesn't appreciate as expected....i get some return in the meantime. I think this will be a good movie year versus the last year's lackluster turnout.
Nice quote... Lionsgate, the studio behind the film, could potentially “make more money on the licensing than the movie itself,” she says. If you look on Amazon & other places... LGF should be making a lot on the merchandising for HG... tons of shirts, games, novelites... etc... should really bolster earnings.
Thanks for posting. Funny how people overlook the merchandise and other ancillary deals LGF has signed in conjunction with Hunger Games. The word "franchise" implies profitable revenue streams beyond the normal movie release. In this case, it will result in millions of continuing profits for years.
