Can we keep the discussion about LGF and investing in LGF and not about 'other calls', ego's and BS. Rating the messages may work, but folks with the ego's will rate this thumbs down. If the dialogue is half intelligent- this helps one think through whether they are going to buy, sell or hold. Sorry- this is not a joke, it's about money smarts. BTW- I'm long LGF and in at $9 + $6. Up 160%.
You're absolutely correct. I'm with you 100%, except that I started buying @ $11.79. Oh, how I wish I started @ $6!
Anywho, I ignored the "professor" about 6 months ago and saw a big improvement here. Tonight, I'm ignoring rhein & the professor's other "socks". Billy & wanna seem to be on topic from what I've read so far.
I converted my 401k's to rollover IRA's last year and have been very busy with both investing and trading. I could care less about trite arguments here or anywhere else. If someone wants to pick a fight with me, I'll simply ignore them. Name calling is for the immature.
While I'm at it, posts for oil belong elsewhere (BTW, 2012 was a record year for movie box office, so much for the doom and gloom) as does repeated posts for AAPL.
When Sybil repeatedly lies and misrepresents what others have written, he gets "btchslaped" and humiliated by posters.
Plenty of good discussions on finance, economics and stocks here.
Good luck (also long LGF).
When I said 'Other call's', I meant talking about economics and finance in general as 'off topic'. Two egocentric people clashing regarding their calls, economic and finance views is also off topic. I would like to see the quality of message boards improve as a tool, not a means for people to clash and brag. I truly think the level of discourse here has discouraged many from participating on this message board as well as others.
