Good info. I can confirm they have a huge position, and a significant portion of their portfolio in LGF, so It makes sense that they takes some profits. Given they own such a large position they could keep selling for the next month at a million shares a day and still have a large position. Any comment on how much they will sell or how disciplined they will be. LGF volume up but not extreme.
More sellers than buyers the last few days
Actually, I looked back and noticed that every 3-4 months since we started this run in January LGF does regress to the 50 day SMA. The 100 day has not been threatened this year... not even close. Just be thankful for the entry point (and I'll try to forget that the option positions I opened yesterday are down 30%).
CFO retiring. If this was some two bit company that could be reason for concern but it isn't with Lionsgate. They've already installed a very capable replacement and cash is pouring into the company's coffers. De-leveraging will proceed as planned.
