That Lionsgate needs to expand their slate to appeal to broader demographics. Rinseamdrepeat nailed it and the 31 Flavors is the perfect example. Lionsgate needs to get back on track with this strategy or the stock will head into the teens and then free fall in my opinion. Different demographics want different kinds of movies and that is what will broaden LIonsgate earnings and benefit shareholders, not to mention vast audience members happy. Lionsgate needs to do the right thing or we can kiss our profits goodbye.
I know isnt that funny. What studio has a broader slate. haha Older, YA, Mainstream, Spanish, Black, Female, Male, Stand up, Documentary, Horror, Love, Sci fi, Drama, etc etc.
Not Disney for sure and not any other studio to the degree that LGF puts out films for every demo. Maybe thats why they are known as Independent. Jeez they just signed a deal to turn the film Warrior which critics love into an India based film. (I think this thread was just started by your medication buddy under another id. You can tell by the goofy ranting on similar subjects) Also........ thats a nice small drop off for Divergent this weekend. To even do better than Twilight on its second weekend in $ and box office drop for both HG & Twilight tells me this is a solid property that we can bank on. Just took a hit the first weekend because of those RT critics.
