This is the lawsuit filed by Patriot in August 2011 which last Saturday was allowed to proceed by the judge......but the interesting thing is this excerpt:
"Judge Thompson also retained securities fraud claims against former SandRidge CEO Tom Ward, former president and chief operating officer Matthew K. Grubb, and former executive vice president Rodney Johnson. However, he tossed all but two liability claims against current board members Jeffrey Serota, Everett Dobson, William Gilliland and Roy Oliver Jr., as well as former board member Daniel Jordan."
If this ends up true and TW did commit fraud......further evidence he should have been fired for cause. Further proof that the BOD's did not and are not doing their job. The sad thing is they surely knew this but if they had fired him for this......then they would have to admit guilt in the lawsuit. However, if he is found guilty during the actual trial.....I think the company should demand the $90 million back........and sue TW to get it. DaninFW
